Customized Training
CWP offers customized on-site or virtual training to provide practitioners with the skills and the tools they need to do more effective and efficient watershed work.
Our trainings can be tailored to meet the needs of a wide range of audiences, including watershed groups, engineers, government personnel, public works staff, stormwater managers, developers, watershed planners, public officials, environmental organizations and others interested in watershed protection. Depending on the topic, trainings can range from 1 hour to multi-day workshops. Training schedules and timing are customizable depending on the topic and the audience. PDH and CWP CEU available for training.
A typical workshop day may include some combination of the following:
- Classroom-style presentations
- An interactive exercise developed specifically for your community
- Discussion on specific local issues
- A field trip (such as stream assessment training or to look at green infrastructure)
- A panel discussion
- Local guest speakers
Clients can select from the wide variety of training topics listed on the menu to the right, or CWP staff can develop new sessions designed to address your unique training needs. Training costs vary depending upon the length of the training or workshop, whether it is presented in person or virtually, the degree of customization required, and the course materials provided. A detailed scope of work and budget is prepared on a case-by-case basis for every training. CWP will assign the most appropriate technical staff to develop and provide the training based on the knowledge and expertise of CWP staff. CWP can also provide recorded copies of virtual training for you to use in the future.
