CWP’s Online Watershed Library Gets a Refresh
CWP’s Online Watershed Library Gets a Refresh
The Center for Watershed Protection recently updated its Online Watershed Library (OWL). The new site contains over 1,800 publications, tools, and other learning materials on watershed and stormwater management.
All resources currently on OWL are available for download with a free Center for Watershed Protection Association (CWPA) registration. Existing CWPA members can use their member login to download resources from OWL and access other member benefits.
OWL can be accessed at: https://owl.cwp.org/
Key features of the updated library include:
-
Multiple ways to browse and filter by resource type, topic, region, publication decade, watershed characteristics, and more
-
Enhanced search capabilities and site design using Tizra® software
-
New “collections” menu provides easy access to CWP’s extensive library of over 400 publications
-
New content types
-
Integration with membership: CWPA members can use their existing login to access OWL
OWL was originally created in 2012 as part of CWP’s professional membership program. It was developed to be a time-saver for watershed and stormwater managers by providing ready access to a searchable clearinghouse of relevant resources.
CWP plans to continue adding new content to OWL such as links to archived CWP webcasts or other members-only resources, training videos, materials from annual CWP conferences, and resources on watershed planning, stormwater management in coastal watersheds, and pollution prevention.
For questions or feedback on OWL, contact Karen Cappiella at kc@cwp.org.
