2025 CWP National Watershed & Stormwater Conference Frequently Asked Questions

Are meals included during the week?
Breakfast and Lunch will be included on Tuesday April 8th, Wednesday April 9th and Thursday April 10th.

*Coffee and snacks will also be provided during the conference.

Will there be field trips at the Conference?
Yes, we have several exciting field trips planned! There will not be any presentations during the field trips so you will not miss anything!  Please note that some field trips will require a moderate amount of walking and attendees must register for all field trips as they are not included with the conference registration. CWP will provide transportation to all field trips. We suggest that you register in advance as there is limited space for each tour. Field trips options TBA.

What airport should I fly in to?
We suggest flying into International San Juan Airport (Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport). It is approximately a 9 minute ride (2 miles) from the airport to the Royal Sonesta Hotel.

I am presenting along with someone else, do all of us need to register?
Yes, all presenters need to register to reserve their spot. We are unable to make any exceptions. We do offer one day registration rates.

I would like to receive PDHs for my attendance, how do I receive them?
We are happy to provide you with PDHs for attending the conference, and requests for PDHs must be made no later than 4/11/24. At the conference registration table, you will pick up a PDH form to use to certify which presentations you attended. You will turn in the form before you leave the conference.  If you have any other questions, please email Center@cwp.org.

What is the benefit of joining as a member of the CWP before I register for the conference?
There are many benefits to membership, such as a generous discounted registration rate, access to webcasts, lunch & learns, PDHs, CEUs, access to our online watershed library and more! Please contact Karen Titus at kmt@cwp.org to learn more.

How can I connect with other conference attendees?
We use the Whova app to post information about the conference, the full schedule, and the list of attendees.  Everyone is encouraged to connect with other attendees through the app and post pictures of field trips or other activities.  You will receive information about the Whova app before the conference.

Will you be using a conference App? Yes, we are using Whova app. We will notify registered attendees when the app is live for the 2025 conference.

I am traveling alone, will there be anything to do in the evenings?  So glad you asked! Each evening, we will be offering different activities that you can participate in. Attendees will be responsible for any cost associated with extra evening activities. We will plan a variety of things to do, such as a brewery tour, evening walks (to get our steps in), and yoga! You will see these activities on the agenda and will be able to rsvp on the Whova app.

I have food allergies/dietary restrictions, will there be accommodations made for me?
Yes of course! Please email Karen Titus at kmt@cwp.org with any dietary requests.  We will have vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options available.

I tried to reserve a room at the Royal Sonesta but received a message that there were no rooms available during my booking time.

Please try to adjust your room dates to only the conference dates (April 7th– April 10th) Attendees who book early, may be able to secure up to 3 days prior to and after the conference.  Please contact Karen Titus at kmt@cwp.org with any questions regarding room reservations.
