The Clean Water Certificate (CWC) Training Program for the Construction, Maintenance and Inspection of Green Infrastructure Practices, Level 100 is a nationally-accredited program.

The Keith Campbell Foundation for the Environment is the key funder of the program with additional support provided by the Prince Charitable Trusts and France-Merrick Foundation.

The CWC training program for workforce development provides high quality training opportunities that promotes job growth in the stormwater industry and delivers industry specific, job-readiness skills and knowledge. The goals of the CWC training program are to:

  • Provide the stormwater industry access to an “on the job ready” workforce,
  • Expand the skilled stormwater industry workforce to help meet the demand for stormwater installation and maintenance, and
  • Increased opportunity for individuals in low-income communities, under or unemployed individuals to secure a living wage job leading to financial stability

The program is modeled to effectively integrate with existing workforce development programs that provide life skills and support services to program participants, creating a pathway for local businesses to hire these individuals into living wage careers following successful completion of the CWC training program.

CWC Partner

The Clean Water Certificate (CWC) Training Program is the first in the nation ANAB-accredited green infrastructure and stormwater training program. The CWC Training Program is now being offered through the CWPA Membership Program. The purpose of the training program is to provide high-quality training opportunities that provides job growth in the stormwater industry and delivers industry-specific job-readiness skills for the under- or unemployed , or currently employed adults seeking to expand their skillset. A CWC Partner Membership provides you with access and use of the  CWC Training Program curriculum* and includes:

  • Annual program review and audit
  • Issuance of ANAB-accredited CWC Training certificates for successful program graduates
  • Program support and updates with new materials
  • Option to develop a special session at the annual conference on green jobs training
  • Unlimited Corporate benefits
